So, the 2023-24 NBA regular season's first season has concluded. Now, it's on to the second season, the always fun NBA Play-In tournament.
The Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, and Indiana Pacers have secured playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. As for the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, and Phoenix Suns have clinched playoff berths.
In the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, the Philadelphia 76ers will face the Miami Heat, and the Chicago Bulls will take on the Atlanta Hawks. In the West, the Los Angeles Lakers will face the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Sacramento Kings will meet the Golden State Warriors.
The play-in tournament is scheduled for Tuesday to Friday, with the first round of the playoffs starting on Saturday.
HOW THE WESTERN CONFERENCE PLAYED OUT
The Oklahoma City Thunder clinched the No. 1 seed in the West with a decisive win over the Dallas Mavericks. At the same time, the Denver Nuggets secured the No. 2 seed with a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
In the East, the New York Knicks moved up to the No. 2 seed with an overtime win against the Chicago Bulls, while the Milwaukee Bucks fell to the No. 3 seed after a loss to the Orlando Magic. The Phoenix Suns claimed the final guaranteed playoff spot in the West with a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. At the same time, the New Orleans Pelicans fell into the play-in tournament with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
