Let's face it, very few people around the globe had the Raptors beating the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minnesota tonight, but for the Raptors to finish the game just 48 points behind the Timberwolves was a bit of a surprise.

Anthony Edwards scored 28 points and dished out six assists as the Minnesota Timberwolves secured a dominant 133-85 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

Naz Reid contributed 23 points and seven rebounds for Minnesota (53-23), securing their second consecutive victory. Rudy Gobert finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Things got so bad that head coach Chris Finch turned to the end of his bench in the fourth quarter to help extend the blowout. Luka Garza, Leonard Miller, and Wendell Moore Jr. were among the team's young players whom you've probably never heard of unless you're a die-hard Timberwolves fan.

On the other side, Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, and Javon Freeman-Liberty each scored 16 points for Toronto (23-53), which suffered its 15th consecutive loss. The Raptors are now just two losses away from tying their franchise record of 17 consecutive defeats, set during the 1997-98 season.

BACK INTO FIRST
The Timberwolves have moved back into a first-place tie with the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference. Up next for the T-Wolves is showed down with Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Friday Night.
