You know, it's the dude; in this case, it was once again not just one dude but two that did in the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals.
Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving had another strong outing together, combining for 66 points in the win. They helped spark a 14-1 run in the fourth quarter to seal the nine-point victory. Irving hit a crucial contested corner three-pointer during that run, essentially ending the Minnesota Timberwolves' night.
Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks, after shutting down Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves early, held on to claim a 116-107 win in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. This victory gives the Mavericks a 3-0 lead in the series, putting them just one game away from their first NBA Finals berth since 2011.
Anthony Edwards sparked the Timberwolves in the third quarter with a spectacular dunk and ended the game with 26 points, but he only scored 4 points in the 4th quarter.
