Like Michael Jordan, Caitlin Clark is launching her very own signature basketball collection with Wilson. She becomes the first man or woman to do so since Jordan.
Like Caitlin may someday become a saying that people utter when describing Caitlin Clarks' basketball career, which, from a publicity and endorsement standpoint, is off to the races; yes, she is 0-4 early in her career, but you can bet she will change the direction of the WNBA's Indiana’s Fevers fortunes on the court sooner rather than later.
From an endorsement standpoint, you can understand why she turned Ice-Cube’s deal to join the Big3 Basketball league. Check out the list of current partnership deals she has already racked up:
Nike
Wilson
Gatorade
Bose
State Farm
Buick
Hy-Vee
H&R Block
Topps
Goldman Sachs
Clark signed a multi-year deal with Wilson to become a brand ambassador and provide feedback on a wide range of Wilson basketball gear. A collection of three laser-engraved basketballs, each with a signature Clark moment, has already appeared on the Wilson website: Threes Up, Record Breaker, and Crowd Maestro.
“I loved that thing more than anything. My brothers and I would always fight over it,” Clark told Boardroom. “That was the best basketball. But I’m just super excited to have a collaboration and create basketballs together that are really cool. I’ve seen the designs that young girls, boys, whoever can get their hands on and go dribble in the driveway or take it to practice with them.”
