Well, the Clippers have been a mess when it comes to Paul George; at least they got James Harden's new contract correct, signing Harden to a 2-year $70 million deal to remain in Los Angeles.
Harden, who played in 72 games last season, averages 16.6 points and 8.5 assists alongside 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. His 16.6 points per game was his lowest since he came off the bench in Oklahoma City behind Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in 2011-12.
He led the Clippers with 8.5 assists alongside 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. His 4.8 free-throw attempts per game were the third-fewest of his career.
Harden, who is still capable of putting up big numbers, did score 33 against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of their series during the NBA playoffs. This was certainly a great move by the Clippers, who needed a show-stopper to help open their new $2 Billion Intuit Dome this fall.
