Caitlin Clark Records First WNBA Triple-Double In Fever Win Over Liberty

It was just a matter of time before Caitlin Clark recorded her first triple-double, and earlier in the day, she pulled it off at home against the New York Liberty in the Indiana Fever's come-from-behind win, 83-78.

Clark, who wears No. 22, reached the triple-double in the 22nd game of her WNBA career. It was also the first triple-double in Fever franchise history.

She finished the game with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists. The Fever are 9-13 on the season and continuing to show signs of improvement, especially in close games.

She was close last week — just a rebound shy of some more WNBA history — but Saturday, in the fourth quarter against the Liberty, Clark completed the first triple-double ever by a rookie.

After Kayla Thornton missed a shot, Clark collected her 10th rebound — to go with 11 assists and 16 points — and received a standing ovation from the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
